INFORMATION

JUDGE DREDD
He sentences Pa Angel to death, but Owen Krysler kills him first. Dredd decides that Krysler is not fit to be Chief Judge and elects to abandon him to the Grunwalder rather than take him back to Mega-City One.

OTHER CHARACTERS
ELMER ANGEL
He tries to kill Dredd to avenge his son's death. Dredd sentences him to death, but Krysler kills him first.

JUNIOR ANGEL
He once wore slippers to kick a man to death, so it wouldn't hurt to much.

OWEN KRYSLER
He can generate a force field that can withstand bullets. He cracks the rocks supporting Pa Angel with his mind and lets him fall to his death in the lava. Dredd abandons Krysler to the Grunwalder deeming him unfit to be Chief Judge and guilty of murder.

THE GRUNWALDER
Dredd lets him keep Krysler.

ARRESTS
None.

DEATHS
One. Krysler kills Pa Angel. We see Dredd kill Junior again and he shoots two robots as well.

REVIEW
Well, that was anti-climactic. The opening is impressive, but simply a repeat of last week's cliffhanger. Krysler turning on Pa Angel is great, but a long time coming. Dredd's decision that Krysler isn't fit to be the Chief Judge is fantastic, but his abandonment isn't. Dredd judges and sentences Junior and Pa Angel, but has no recourse for Krysler. Also the set up with the Grunwalder all goes for nothing here.

The End.
