Battak's species mature in a hive.

BLACKHAWK
He worries for his lost soul. Battak pushes him off a cliff, but Blackhawk grabs the insect's foot.

OTHER CHARACTERS
BATTAK
In the hive where he matured, they called him Battak the Merciless. Aboard the stadium, the called him Battak the killer. His death-dive only failed him once and he has vowed that it will never fail him again. He fights and eats a scavenger that attacks them. When Zog is kidnapped, Battak suggests abandoning him to his fate, but the others overrule him. While Ursa is rescuing Zog, Battak pushes Blackhawk off a cliff, but the human grabs the insect's foot.

ZOG
The scavengers kidnap him. Ursa finds him in a cave.

URSA
He finds Zog in a cave.

DEATHS
Two. Blackhawk and Battak kill one scavenger each.

REVIEW
It's nice to see things from Battak's perspective for a change, but somewhat sad that it is something of a necessity, since we are slowly losing our leading man.
